Sin Huat Press began as a two-person offset printing shop in Kampung Jawa (马六甲新街), near Jonker Street, Melaka. Over five decades, we have grown into a vertically integrated packaging powerhouse serving some of the world’s most demanding industries.
We are family-owned, FSC-certified, ISO-accredited, and deeply committed to the values that got us here: craftsmanship, innovation, sustainability, and people.

Five decades of growth & innovation.
1972
● Founded in Melaka
A rented shop lot in Kampung Jawa (马六甲新街), near Jonker Street. Two employees. One press. Big ambitions.
1980s
● Building the foundation
Grew steadily. Built a loyal customer base across Melaka. Earned a reputation for reliability and craft.
1990s
● Into packaging manufacturing
Expanded beyond printing into full-service packaging. One of Melaka’s first to invest in advanced German technology — Heidelberg and MAN Roland presses.
2000s
● Scale & certification
Moved to a larger facility in Malim Jaya. Achieved ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and UL Certification. Quality systems formalised. Standards raised.
2010s
● Sustainability & recognition
FSC® certified. Established De Cans Cans, which co-developed the world’s first U-shaped paper straw for aseptic packaging. Won the Sin Chew Business Excellence Award. Moved to our current 8-acre Krubong campus.
2020s
● ESG & global reach
Solar installed. 1.1M kWh annually. 8 chimney systems deployed factory-wide for emission control. New state-of-the-art distribution centre with integrated inventory management system in planning. Overseas manufacturing arm established. Full ESG programme launched. Still growing. Still family-owned.
